Campus Life

Students are an integral part of the academic community as much as any other arm of the institution. The student body in LAUTECH is made up of over 20,000 students drawn from all regions of the country. Thus, an enabling environment is created for meeting and interacting with different people from diverse ethnic and socio-cultural backgrounds.

LAUTECH is adjudged by Nigerian Universities Commission as the best state university for two consecutive academic sessions 2003 and 2004.

This is as a result of the assiduousness of the students who make a reasonable blend of both social and academic lives. LAUTECH is one of the most peaceful higher institutions in Nigeria . Despite the different socio-cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds of the students, they still find the balance which makes them exist as one big family.
